Sizing of shells
The size each item is available in is indicated by:
'T' (tiny, approx 1cm long)
'S' (small, approx 2cm - 3cm long)
'M' (medium, approx 4cm - 5cm long)
'L' (large, approx 6cm +)

Please note that this does vary according to the shells and the particular item, for example the 'Tusk' earring is priced as a medium, not a large, because although it is around 6 - 7cms long, it is very thin.

Pendants are significantly larger, a medium being around 6cm and a large being up to 11 cm (Arabian Tibia, Turritella, Horse Conch, Giant land snail)

With studs, clips and cufflinks we try to use the smallest shells possible for each size option, but please note that as studs go they tend to be on the larger side.
That said, our large (and we do mean large!) clips have proved to be very popular!

Objet Sizing
Extra small = 4-6cms
Small = 6-9cms
Medium = 9-13cms
Large = 13-17cms
Extra large = 17cms +

If in any doubt please do call us - we can give you more exact measurements of what we have in stock at the time.

Leaves
We have produced a variety of items made from seasonal leaves, including Ivy, Rowan, Oak, Sycamore and Gingko.
If there is a particular leaf you would like us to try please do call to discuss - if we can source the leaf we will always have a go! Please also bare in mind the time of year, for example, we may not be able to make an Oak choker in the winter months if we have used up all the supplies of leaves we collect and dry in the spring.

Objet
Please note that Objet are usually only made 'to order', so please be sure to allow plenty of time when ordering. We do keep a very small range for retail shows though, so if you desperately want one in a hurry please phone and if we have one lurking, we'll get it straight out to you!

Gold items
Gold items are also made to order, so please allow up to 28 days, but as with the Objet, if you need anything in a hurry, please ask.

Re-Pairing Service
Should you lose or damage one of your Silverseashells earrings, we are happy to find a new 'mate' for your remaining one! Please post it to us and we will try to match it as quickly as possible, for the cost of half the price of a pair.

Delivery times
We aim to deliver all orders within 10 working days. If we are in the process of making the particular item/s you are after or if it is a particularly busy time of year, delivery may take up to 28 days.

However, we always aim to deliver the highest standard of service to all our customers and will always do everything we can to ensure you get your purchase as quickly as possible. If you need an item by a certain date please don't hesitate to contact us and we will be able to tell you if it is in stock and the earliest we can guarantee delivery.

All shipping and handling costs are set at the following standard rates:
Recorded delivery - £2.50
Special Delivery (guaranteed next-day delivery) - £4.50
For larger quantities of Objet, please call us for a quote.

Returns, exchanges and refunds
We want you to be delighted with your purchase, so if your item is not as expected or you would like to swap it for a different size or item, please return it with details of what you would like and we will be happy to exchange it for you or give you a full refund.
All earrings are exempt from this and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, unless the item is faulty.
